We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can support an individual and create a better future for them

We are an organization supporting families, youth, and adults with physical, social, intellectual, and complex needs, as well as other disabilities. Our mission is to foster inclusion and enable individuals to contribute to community life in Calgary, Alberta, and across Canada. Additionally, we address cases involving homelessness.

Hope Inclusion and Disability Services was founded to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities and complex needs. We provide a supportive environment and tailored programs to help individuals achieve their specific goals and objectives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make sure all individuals get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.
  • Direct services to individuals with disabilities and their families.
  • Promote an awareness of individual’s health needs, both physical, psychological and emotional well-being.
  • Provide space to allow individual to find and maintain social relationships, companionship and fellowship.
  • Provide a forum for individual to exchange ideas, experiences, network and find support and mentorship.
  • Collaborate and network with each other along with the community organizations to provide opportunities for individuals to learn and participate in the community.
  • To enhanced happiness and healthy contributions within the community.
  • Foster relationships based on diversity and respect for people of all abilities and nationalities.

Client Rights

  • Advocacy: Our staff have a responsibility to support, listen and help you get what you need. You have a voice in all things we do with you and/or your family.
  • Confidentiality: You have the right to have your information kept confidential and to know whom we are talking to about your circumstances and the reason for that.
  • Peacekeeping Procedure: This is the process available should you have concerns about fairness, treatment or conflict resolution (grievance procedure).
  • Planning: You also have the right to be involved in what is
    happening for you and/or your family which includes decisions, goal planning and interventions.
  • Consent: It is your right to consent or withdraw consent to involvement in our programs. Depending on the circumstances, a Case Worker or guardian may give consent on behalf of you.
  • Uniqueness: You have the right to culture, religion and diversity and to be respected for who you are. You also have the right to be connected with unique support.
